How to verify us, and what each check proves

Five checks, in the order we would do them
None of these needs our cooperation. Four of them you can finish before you reply to us at all.
- 1
Search the state register.
The legal entity is SJ Wholesale LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. It is a registered company, not a trading name over a personal account. Search the legal name in the state business records service and read what comes back.
- 2
Call the number and ask for Seth.
(732) 996-6310 reaches Seth Stern Storch, who prices the lots and signs the offers. There is no queue, no gatekeeper and no sales team between you and the person who decides.
- 3
Match the address.
30 Knightsbridge Road, Suite 525, Piscataway, NJ 08854, United States. That is the registered office and the warehouse the lots are received at. Compare it against the record in the state register, and if the two differ, tell us and we will fix the page.
- 4
Check the domain the email came from.
We email from three mailboxes and no others. They are listed further down this page. An email that claims to be us from any other domain is not us, and we would rather you called to check than replied to it.
- 5
Ask us what we cannot do.
We hold no certifications, we do not sanitize drives in house and we issue no certificates of destruction. All three answers are already published on this site. A buyer who will not put those answers in writing is the one to worry about.
Start check one here: search the New Jersey business records service for “SJ Wholesale LLC”, opens in a new tab. Check two is (732) 996-6310. Check five is already answered in what we are not certified for and what we can and cannot certify about the drives.
The entity, on the record
This is the whole of it. Every line is either public record or a term we will repeat in writing on your offer.
| Legal name | SJ Wholesale LLC |
|---|---|
| Principal | Seth Stern Storch |
| State of formation | New Jersey |
| Registered address | 30 Knightsbridge Road, Suite 525, Piscataway, NJ 08854, United StatesSearch “SJ Wholesale LLC” in the New Jersey business records service, opens in a new tab |
| Receiving location | The same address. Lots are counted and checked at the registered office in Piscataway. |
| Governing law | The State of New Jersey. Our written terms are here. |
| Phone | (732) 996-6310 |
| seth@sjwholesalellc.com |
We do not print a registration number or a D-U-N-S number on this page. A number typed onto a website proves nothing on its own, and a wrong one would undo the point of the page. Search the legal name in the register above and read the record itself.
Where our email actually comes from
We run outbound email. If a message from us landed in your inbox unannounced, it came from one of these three mailboxes. They are all the same company and the same person answers all three.
- seth@sjwholesalellc.com
- seth@sjwholesale.co
- purchasing@surplusinventorybuyer.com
Anything else is not us, including a lookalike domain with a hyphen or a different suffix. Nobody at this company will ever ask you to change bank details by email. If a message claiming to be from us does, call (732) 996-6310 before you act on it.
Public registries where you can look us up
A register is a place to check us, not an award to display. That is why it appears here as a text link and nowhere on this site as a badge.
New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services. The state holds the formation record for this company. Search the business name records for “SJ Wholesale LLC”, opens in a new tab. The result is the state’s record, not ours, and we have no ability to edit it.
We hold no review-site profile, no trade-association listing and no credit-bureau page to point you at. A search for our name on a review site will return nothing. Nothing is not the same as bad, and we are not going to dress it up as a result.

Read the data handling page →Where equipment goes
Reuse and resale, domestically and by export, and an honest account of what we can and cannot tell you about the next hop.

What we will not claim
Most of this category grades its own homework. Here is the homework we are not going to grade, next to the narrow set of things we do claim.
What we do claim
- We buy the whole lot, including the units nobody else wants.
- We arrange and book the freight, and we bring the pallets and the wrap.
- We pay by ACH or wire transfer, inside 3 to 5 business days of verified receipt.
- We put the scope, the price, the freight terms and the payment trigger in one written offer before you commit.
- We tell you in writing what arrived against what you listed, before any money moves.
- We are a New Jersey company at a real address, and you can check both without our help.
What we will not claim
- No processing or data destruction certification. We name the ones we do not hold.
- No in-house drive sanitization and no certificate of destruction.
- No processing facility. There is no line, no shredder and no audit floor.
- No reviews, no ratings and no client names, because we have none to publish.
- No recovery percentage, no assets-processed count and no throughput figure. Every one of those numbers in this industry is unaudited.
- No counterparty references. Trade buyers keep their supply confidential, and a wholesale reference list is either a breach of that or an invention.

If you are comparing buyers
Run the same checks on everyone on your shortlist, including us. We wrote the checklist as a general one, not as an argument for hiring us, and it contains questions we do not have the best answer to. The checklist for vetting any hardware buyer is here. If it rules us out for your project, it has done its job.
Questions about checking us out
- Am I dealing with the same company that emailed me?
- If the email came from seth@sjwholesalellc.com, seth@sjwholesale.co, purchasing@surplusinventorybuyer.com, yes. Those three mailboxes are the same company, SJ Wholesale LLC. Anything else is not us. Call the number on this page and ask.
- What if something on this page turns out to be wrong?
- Tell us and we correct the page. Everything here is either a matter of public record or a term we will repeat in the offer document, so none of it is hard to check. If the state register disagrees with this page, the register is right and the page is wrong.
- Why is there no certification badge anywhere on this site?
- Because we hold none, and a mark displayed by a company that does not hold it is a misrepresentation. We list what we do not hold and what each one covers.
- Can I speak to someone you have bought from before?
- No. We do not publish or supply counterparty references. Traders treat who they buy from and who they sell to as confidential, and a reference list from a wholesale buyer is either a breach of that or an invention. Check us the ways that need nobody’s permission instead: the state register, the phone number, and the terms written into the offer before you release anything.
- Is there a written terms document?
- Yes. Our terms are published on this site and they are governed by the State of New Jersey. The commercial terms for your specific lot, which are the ones that decide the money, sit in the offer document before you commit anything. Our payment and insurance page sets out the shape of them.
