What qualifies
We take working, non-working, cosmetically damaged and mixed-grade units, as one lot. No rigid requirements that exclude complex or mixed-grade lots.
We buy
- Laptops, desktops and workstations, working or not.
- Servers, storage arrays and enterprise drives, racked or de-racked.
- Monitors, projectors and interactive flat panels.
- Phones, tablets and Chromebooks, including graded B and C stock.
We do not buy
- Networking gear: switches, routers and firewalls.
- Chargers, headphones, cables and accessories on their own.
- Printers, copiers, CRTs and other end-of-life office equipment.
- Activation-locked, FRP-locked or MDM-enrolled devices.
- Devices reported lost or stolen, at any price.
We do not buy activation-locked, FRP-locked or MDM-enrolled devices. Release them before the pickup date, or hold them back and we price the rest of the lot.
Two situations have their own page. Read them if you are closing or downsizing an office or clearing racks out of a data center.

How the offer is built
We need the model, the specification, the quantity, the rough condition and the location. We price against your own grade labels, exactly as your system exports them. We check the lot against the manifest on receiving and we do not re-grade to move the number.
- 1
You send the list.
Model, specification, quantity, rough condition and location. A spreadsheet, an MDM export or a manifest all work.
- 2
We price it against the market.
We price against what the equipment currently moves for in the wholesale and export market, not against a fixed rate card.
- 3
You get a written offer.
The offer is priced on the whole lot, against current market conditions, in writing, before you commit anything.
- 4
The offer stands.
The figure holds for 7 days. After that we reprice, because the market underneath it has moved.
Payment and settlement
You are paid by us. You are never billed by us, and no deposit is asked for at any point. Here is the order events happen in.
On acceptance
Nothing is due from you. We book the carrier and confirm the collection date, normally 3 to 5 business days out.
At collection
Title passes to us at collection. Risk in transit sits with SJ Wholesale, not with you.
On receiving
The receiving report is a written document. It sets out what arrived against what you listed, line by line, and the revised figure is agreed in writing before any money moves.
Inside 3 to 5 business days
Settlement by ACH or wire transfer, triggered by verified receipt.
If we cannot agree a revised figure, we return the lot to you at our cost, on the original freight terms.
Pickup and freight
We arrange the freight, in the United States and internationally. We book the carrier, we supply the pallets and the wrap, and we arrange a liftgate where the building has no dock. We do not operate our own trucks. Who pays for what is set out here.
- United States and Canada
- Latin America
- Western and Eastern Europe
- Middle East
- West and East Africa
- South and Southeast Asia
- Australia and New Zealand
Regions we book collections from. These are regions, not offices: the company operates from one address, and the carrier is local to your building.

Whole lots, mixed grades, freight arranged.
We take working, non-working, cosmetically damaged and mixed-grade units. We arrange the pickup and the freight, and we pay on agreed terms.
Where your data sits in all this
If the drives are still in the machines, that is the first thing to settle, and our data handling page sets out exactly what we can and cannot certify. Routing a lot through a certified processor is available on request. We name the processor for that specific job, in writing, before the collection is booked. Insurance and payment terms are on the payment and insurance page.
An ideal opportunity
An ideal opportunity: meaningful quantity, clear ownership, commercial urgency, scalable logistics.
